Confidentiality

I understand the information that will be covered and presented to me throughout the program. I understand that everything shared by participants during the program is confidential, and I understand that if I choose to discuss anything shared by other participants, this may be grounds for removal from the program. While confidentiality is expected, program facilitators are mandated reporters and must report any disclosures involving harm to self or others. Confidentiality is of utmost importance in this organization.


Digital Participation & Communication

I understand that participation in the Young Women’s Leadership Challenge (YWLC) includes digital communication and virtual meetings. I acknowledge and agree that:

  • Program communication will take place via email and Remind. I am responsible for regularly checking these platforms for updates, announcements, and program information.
  • Monthly meetings may be conducted via Zoom. I am responsible for joining meetings on time and participating from an appropriate setting.
  • I will conduct myself respectfully in all digital spaces (including Zoom audio/video, chat, and messages), and I will follow all program expectations for behavior and participation.
  • I will not share Zoom links, meeting passwords, or access details with anyone outside the program, and I will not allow non-participants to attend meetings.
  • I will not record, screenshot, photograph, or share any part of meetings or program communications (including chat messages) without explicit permission from program staff.
Zoom Recording

I understand that YWLC Zoom meetings may be recorded to share only with students who missed a meeting. By participating in Zoom meetings, I consent to being recorded (including my name as displayed, voice, video image, and any participation in the chat). Recordings will be shared only with current program participants for program-related purposes and are not intended for public distribution.


Program Requirements

I understand the expectations of this program and agree to fulfill the requirements outlined below. I understand that failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from the program.

  • Attending the summer conference with complete attendance
  • Take Action Challenge
    • Students must complete the TAC Plan document during the summer conference
    • Students must submit a 1-minute video presentation on their TAC at the end of their program participation
  • Mentorship
    • Students must initiate at least 2 meetings per semester with their designated mentor
  • Monthly Meetings – August–April
    • 100% attendance is mandatory
    • If absolutely necessary, students are allowed to miss up to 2 monthly meetings (taking place 5:30–7:00 pm, 1st Wednesday of each month, excluding January)

With my signature, I understand that I am required to attend the YWLC summer conference and monthly meetings starting in August 2026 through April 2027, along with a minimum commitment of 30 service hours within one year.
