About the Young Women’s Leadership Challenge
YWLC is a year-long program composed of a conference, mentoring, monthly meetings, Fall and Spring workshops and lectures throughout the academic year which are designed to empower high school girls to become leaders, global citizens, and social entrepreneurs.
With close to 400 alumni since 2012, every year YWLC seeks to give high school girls tangible life-skills as they transition to higher education, and the workplace. We emphasize the importance of leadership, team-work, dialogue, self-reflection, and critical thinking. YWLC is brought to you by The Pangea Network, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and communities in the U.S. and Kenya.
