We’re just a few days away from beginning our YW We’re just a few days away from beginning our YWLC Summer Conferences!

U.S. students will meet in person for 6 days and begin their YWLC journey. These days are full of fun and help build community among young women - which is what the vast majority of our applicants this year explicitly stated they’re looking for.

If you're joining us for YWLC, let us know what you're most looking forward to below!
Meet our June Woman of the Month: Diana Awino! 🧡

Diana is a wife, mother of three, and a determined business owner from Homa Bay County. She runs a salon and cosmetic shop in Kendu Bay town!

Prior to joining the Pangea Network, Diana struggled to manage her business finances and meet her family’s needs. Through Pangea’s Network Program, she’s gained essential business and personal development skills, learning how to track her profits, and separate her business and personal money.

Since then, Diana’s living standards have improved. She built a beautiful permanent home, and she’s working toward her next goal of opening a barber shop to grow her income.

Join us in celebrating her hard work and progress in the comments below! 🙌✨
More than a retreat… It's a launchpad. 🚀 Twi More than a retreat… It's a launchpad. 🚀

Twice a year, our students come together for 3 days of connection, growth, and inspiration. At the Pangea Boys and Girls Retreats, they share stories, build support systems, and gain life skills that help them thrive in school and beyond.

Father’s Day Spotlight: Layla & Her Dad 💙 Wh Father’s Day Spotlight: Layla & Her Dad 💙

When Layla dreamed up Community Cuisine @communitycuisinehtx to help feed families in need, her dad didn’t hesitate to jump in. "I was inspired by my daughter’s compassion to help others," he shared. "After she formulated a plan, I was all in to assist her to achieve her goals."

Together, they’ve served hot meals - and even warmer kindness - to countless families.

What makes him most proud? The smiles, the gratitude, and watching Layla be recognized for her outstanding community service while still managing school life.

His advice to other dads? "Show up. Volunteer. And bring your kids with you. Change only happens when you get involved."

This Father’s Day, we honor dads like Layla’s, who not only raise leaders but stand right beside them. 💪

Aline, a 2017 YWLC alum and a current Chemistry Ph Aline, a 2017 YWLC alum and a current Chemistry PhD student at NYU, used her YWLC Take Action Challenge to launch something incredible: a club called RISE&SHINE that helps new refugees find ways to give back through community service. 💫

The Take Action Challenge (TAC) is a part of the YWLC program that encourages young women to turn their passions into real-world projects. With support from her Pangea mentor, Aline was able to grow RISE&SHINE and watch student refugees make an impact in their own neighborhoods.
