Meet our student of the month! At just 22, Mary Nd Meet our student of the month! At just 22, Mary Ndiya is a third-year student from Siaya studying at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Her passion for leadership drives her dream of working in human rights advocacy and one day founding her own NGO and children’s home to support vulnerable children. From becoming her school’s first female president to speaking on youth leadership platforms, Ndiya is a shining example of how empowered women create change. Through her journey, she’s learned to overcome self-doubt and embrace her voice in spaces where it matters most. With new bookkeeping skills and a business loan that helped her expand her flock, Pili has built a sustainable source of income — empowering not just herself, but her family and community. Her journey is rooted in resilience, hard work, and a dream to create consistent income and opportunity for her family.
