    Meet our inspiring Woman of the Month, Beatrice Al Meet our inspiring Woman of the Month, Beatrice Alice Achieng! At 42 years old, Beatrice is a dedicated businesswoman, wife, and mother of four. Born in Homabay, she started her school uniform production business in 2009 and now works closely with the Det Women Cooperative.

💪 Overcoming Challenges
After struggling to find employment post-college, Beatrice took matters into her own hands by learning tailoring and starting her own business. Her determination has led to not only her own success, but also the employment of two additional people.

🌱 Growth with The Pangea Network
Since joining our program, Beatrice has gained valuable business and personal development skills. She's learned the importance of record-keeping, customer retention, and has expanded her knowledge on various topics such as Human Rights.

🌟 Accomplishments & Dreams
Beatrice is proud to keep her children in school and provide for her family. She dreams of growing her business and meeting the constant demand for uniforms. To achieve this, she collaborates with skilled assistants to handle large orders efficiently.

In her spare time, Beatrice enjoys reading motivational books to continue learning and growing.

    Meet our amazing Student of the Month, David Juma! Meet our amazing Student of the Month, David Juma! David is a 22-year-old from Kibera, Nairobi, currently in his third year, second semester at Eldoret Technical Training Institute. His favorite subject is Survey Control, and he dreams of becoming a Land Surveyor after graduation.

David's journey has been marked by challenges, including financial struggles and anxiety about his future. However, since joining The Pangea Network, his life has changed for the better. He has been able to continue his education, develop morally, and make significant progress toward his goals.

Before joining Pangea, David faced limited opportunities and difficult living conditions in the slums. Thanks to the program, he now has a safer environment, access to basic needs, and the chance to connect with mentors through programs like the Annual Boys Retreats and the Destiny Leadership Program.

David is most proud of his personal growth and achievements, including finishing high school and pursuing higher education. He is a unique individual who believes that anything can be achieved with determination and hard work.
