I got involved with Pangea over 5 years ago while I was living in The Woodlands and after meeting Nicole Minor and others involved. There are many charities that you can donate money to, but to me it was special to be able to help support a small group of people who were actually going out there and getting the work done.
I was impressed and touched by the stories that were shared about the struggles of women in Africa and what the Pangea Network was doing to help enact real, meaningful change in these woman’s lives as well as the lives of their families. As an entrepreneur I was impressed by the hands-on approach that Pangea takes—helping these women to succeed on their own by giving them the business training and tools necessary to do so.
The Pangea Network does a great job of sharing the stories of the people they are helping—and, as a donor, it is rewarding to see the impact that we can collectively have not only at home but around the world.
