“Let this be a time to look back and reflect on how this year has been. And realize what you have had to endure.
Needless to say, this year was hard. It was filled with discomfort, heaviness, heartaches, and loneliness. But there was also a sight of good humanity, love, support, and hope. And somewhere in between, you have coped. You have thrived. You pushed through.
Give yourself acknowledgment for doing the best you can.
Let’s say goodbye to 2020 with peace in your heart. Because it’s been hard, but you didn’t quit.
Now, we look forward to the beginning of the year. Things will not change overnight, and challenges may continue, but you can take comfort in knowing that you have come this far, you are doing it and you will continue to do so.
I wish you well, my friend. May your heart open up to the possibilities of what is to come. And may we continue to thrive and overcome, whatever comes our way.”
