Meet Beatrice Alice Achieng, our inspiring Woman of the Month! 🎉 At 43 years old and hailing from Siaya County, Beatrice is a dedicated mother of four and a talented tailor, running her business, Homahill Designs, in Kochia.

Beatrice has faced challenges, especially in marketing her products and maintaining a steady income. However, since joining The Pangea Network, she has transformed her business with the help of a revolving fund. With this support, she purchased new stock and acquired a new machine, leading to an increase in customers and income.

Her dream is to become a uniform supplier for various schools, and she’s actively pursuing this by showcasing her samples. Beatrice is proud of her accomplishments, including acquiring an over-lock machine, which sets her apart from competitors, and ensuring her son’s school fees are paid without difficulty.

Before Pangea, Beatrice struggled with business management and time management, but now she tracks her cash flow effectively and understands the importance of saving.

Fun fact: Beatrice is also a talented singer, having participated in various music competitions at her church! 🎶💪

Meet Mathew Ogal Otieno, our inspiring Student of the Month! 🎉 At 24 years old, Mathew is currently in his third year at Kisumu Medical Training College, pursuing his passion for Clinical Nursing, particularly in Patient Care and Community Health.

Growing up as a total orphan, Mathew faced immense challenges. However, with the support of The Pangea Network, he has transformed his life. The program has provided him not only with financial assistance for his education but also with emotional support and mentorship. Mathew has developed the confidence and skills needed to give back to his community as a future nurse, with aspirations to specialize in maternal and child health.

Before Pangea, Mathew struggled to navigate his education without guidance. Now, he is thriving in nursing school and preparing for his final exams, ready to make a real difference in the lives of those in need. His resilience and calmness under pressure make him an exceptional future healthcare provider.
