What have you been up to since YWLC?

After YWLC, I took on more ambitious fundraising projects to help an orphanage called Helping Hands recover from a natural disaster, provide a college education to 30 children, and purchase equipment for a campus hospital for three consecutive years. I was lucky enough to inspire other students to continue this annual fundraiser after I left for college. YWLC drove me to take action for issues that I felt passionate about. After graduating high school, I was admitted to the World Bachelor in Business program at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles). This is a triple degree program in which I study at USC, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong), and Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) for one year each to learn about International Business in different markets. Five years from now, I see myself working for a corporation that cares about gender equality, sustainability, and global warming, and is conscious of its impact on others. I see myself empowering other young girls and creating opportunities for them to achieve their goals.
